Recipe: Valentine's Day Raspberry Brownie Cake

The way to a man's heart is through his stomach. And what could be more romantic than a lovingly decorated heartshaped cake on Valentine's Day? Not only, that the bittersweet combination of sweet chocolate and fruity raspberry tastes heavenly, the brownie cake also looks delicious. I prepared it a couple days ago for our anniversary, but I think it's a nice idea for Valentine's Day too. You will need the following:

3 eggs
150 g sugar
1 package of vanilla sugar
100 ml sunflower oil
50 ml milk
1 package of backing soda
5 tablespoons of cocoa
100 g chocalate shavings
chocoalte shavings for decorating
200 g flour
Walnuts and almonds
Raspberries
Icing sugar

Beat and froth the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the milk and the sunflower oil. Mix the flour with the backing soda, cocoa and with the chocolate shavings and add it to the egg mixture. If the dough is too liquid add more flour. Spread the mixture into the cake pan and cover with chocolate shavings. Bake it for 35-40 min at 180°C circulating heat. When the cake has cooled, decorate it with raspberries, the walnuts and almonds. Top with icing sugar.
